Museum Passes

Please Note:

In accordance with the current City-wide vaccination requirement, you must show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to enter the Museum (this includes private and Museum sponsored events):

Also for consideration:      

  • Many museums limit or time admissions and strongly encourage advance booking.
  • Check with the museum before making your trip.
  • Some museums even though open are not providing pass discounts at this time and will not appear on the list below.
  • Even though a pass may be reserved it is the patron’s responsibility to ensure both availability and any necessary reservations.
  • Each museum has its own set of procedures for pass use – please review the museum’s specific pass instructions.                  

Passes can only be picked up during regular Library hours [please consult walpolelibrary.org for current schedule].                                        

To reserve a pass, click "Request Pass" and complete the form. You will need a valid Old Colony Library Network card. Your pass will be available for pick-up one (1) day before your reservation date. If your reservation date falls on a summer weekend or a holiday when the library is closed, your pass will be available on the last day the library is open that preceeds your reservations date (i.e. Friday pick-up for a summer weekend reservation date). Passes not picked up by noon time of the reservation date, will be released to other patrons.

Please return non-paper passes to the Walpole Public Library by 9:00 am the next day. Late passes incur a $2.50/day late fee. Your family may reserve up to one (1) pass per day, unless otherwise noted. To cancel your reservation, please contact the library at 508-660-7340 as soon as possible. Museum passes are purchased through funding provided by the Pillsbury Fund, a Walpole Public Library Trust Fund.

The Walpole Public Library is closed on Saturdays and Sundays during the summer.  Monday passes and coupons can be picked up on the preceding Friday.

Discount:  Entitles up to two patrons to general museum admission at a reduced fee of $12 per person.  Youth 16 and under recieve free admission.  Patrons must also pay an additional admission fee if they wish to visit Yin Yu Tang, the Chinese House.  Access to special ticketed exhibitions may require a separate fee.  Visitors using a Library pass card are not entitled ot any other member benefits.
