BORROWING GUIDELINES

Museum passes may be reserved up to 30 days in advance and are available to anyone with a valid Connecticut library card. 

Limit of one (1) pass per day, per family and four (4) passes in a 30-day period.

Passes valid ONLY for the specific day reserved.

PRINTABLE PASSES

Patrons may print passes for participating museums on demand (Teal "Request Pass" buttons).  You will need access to a printer at the time the reservation is reserved.  If you fail to print the pass you will need to call the library.

RETURNABLE PASSES

Passes for the Beardsley Zoo, Connecticut State Parks, Mystic Aquarium and the Maritime Aquarium must be checked out from the library using a library card and returned to the library (magenta "Request Pass" buttons). These passes may be picked up after 1p.m the day before the scheduled visit and returned by 12 noon the day after the scheduled visit.  Passes may be returned in the bookdrop in their proper pouch. The late fee for these returnable passes is $10/day, maximum $50. The Library is closed Sundays, so passes for that day need to be picked up on Saturday before 4 p.m.

While the calendar, below, incorporates museum schedules to the best of the library's knowledge, it is recommended that you check the individual museum's web site for museum hours, exhibits, parking fees, directions, etc.

HOTSPOT

Library Hotspots provide wireless internet connection to your smartphone, tablet, laptop, and any other Wi-Fi capable devices. You can connect multiple devices at a time and access the internet anywhere within the Sprint network.

To reserve the hotspot, you must have an unblocked, current Berlin Adult Library card.

May reserve up to 30 days in advance

Households may only borrow Hotspots one time in a 60 day period.

Two-week loan period with no renewals

Device can only be picked up and returned to the circulation desk during open hours.

$10 per day overdue fines, maximum $80.
