Museum Passes

 

The Museum Pass program is generously supported by the Friends of the Chatham Public Library. See our website to join the Friends!

The following institutions have opened in some capacityAll require visitors to wear masks or face coveringsmost require reservations for a timed visit. Click on the names below for more details.

Print on Demand Pass: Passes may be reserved up to thirty days in advance and can be printed from home or at the Library. This pass will only be valid for the date of visit listed on the confirmation page so request the pass for the day you wish to use it. These passes are marked closed for the days when the museums are closed.

Pick Up/Return Pass:  Passes may be reserved online for up to thirty days in advance and can be picked up at the library. These passes can be checked out for three days. For example: if you request a pass for a Tuesday, it will be due back on ThursdayThese passes are also marked closed for days when the library is closed.

You may request up to three passes per day. Online reservations are available to Chatham & Canaan Library cardholders; all others must visit the library in person.

The NYS Empire Pass is your key to all-season enjoyment at New York State Parks. It provides unlimited day-use vehicle entry to most facilities operated by New York State Parks and the State Dept. of Environmental Conservation including forests, beaches, trails and more. Pass allows access for one carload.

If you do plan on visiting, we ask all visitors to recreate local, meaning choose parks close to home, practice social distancing and use common sense to protect yourself and others. Tuesday through Friday: 1–5 p.m. (10 a.m.–1 p.m. for groups)
Saturday: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sunday: 12–5 p.m.

Discount Library Pass gives you 50% off standard admission price ($6 for adults; $5 for seniors; $4 for children. Free for children under 3.)

Open Wednesday--Sunday; Closed Thanksgiving, New Year’s Day, Christmas, Easter, Memorial Day and Independence Day.
