The Fall 2020 Visitor Experience

The 2020 Gardens and Grounds Experience is a safe, fun, and informative way to visit and support The House of the Seven Gables in an open-air setting. Visitors will receive:

  • Access to a 30-minute narrated historic site tour using a personal electronic device (i.e. phone or tablet)
  • A historic garden guide and site map
  • Access to the historic gardens, Museum Store, and Visitor Center for up to one hour. There is no access to any other buildings.
  • Families are welcome to request a scavenger hunt upon arrival.

We are excited to welcome you, but ask that you review the following guidelines before purchasing your tickets:

  • Starting on September 21, the only way to access the historic site is by purchasing advance tickets online. Visitors will not be able to enter the site without an advance ticket purchase.
  • On-time arrival is mandated. Late entry will not be allowed and there are no refunds for late arrivals.
  • The House of the Seven Gables is following all state and local guidance for COVID-19. All visitors must wear suitable face covering at all times, maintain 6 feet of physical distance with staff and other parties, and practice healthy hand hygiene. We have extremely limited occupancy and all visits will be limited to one hour. Visitors who don’t comply may be asked to leave without a refund.
  • The 2020 experience is rain or shine. No refunds will be given for inclement weather.
  • Only trained, certified service animals are allowed. Pets are not allowed.
