10-acre outdoor history museum grounds are open, free of charge, when the historic houses are not open.

The seasonal outdoor ice skating rink is open December through February, 9 am to 9 pm, 7 days a week (weather & programming schedule permitting).

The historic houses are staffed and open for touring 10 am to 5 pm, 7 days a week, May through October and for special events (guided house tours, hearth-cooking workshops, speaker programs, history theatre, and holiday festivities) November - April. Tickets are not required to those visiting Figtree Kitchen Cafe in the TYCO Visitors Center and those visiting Pickwick's at the Banke, the on-site store. Tenants have access to the ground at all times.
