Until further notice, all museum passes must be reserved by phone or email, and all passes must be reserved by 4pm at least two days ahead of intended use (for example, if you want to visit the MFA on a Saturday, you'll need to book the pass by the preceding Thursday).
Almost every museum is currently requiring pre-ordered, online ticket registration, so please visit your destination's website before you contact the library to book passes.
Many local museums remain closed, or are not currently accepting library passes. If you do not see one of our regularly offered museums listed, this means we do not currently offer passes to that museum.
All passes will be left in labeled envelopes in a box in the front vestibule for pickup, and for those passes with a $2 user fee, exact change can be left in a nearby coin box.
All returnable passes must be returned in the book drop by noon on the day after use.
Hingham Residents with active library cards may reserve passes up to 30 days in advance.
Residents from other towns may request passes two days before you'd like to use the pass.
