Museum Passes

Reserve a pass for the date you will PICK IT UP at the library. The day you pick up your museum pass is Day #1 of your total reservation.

Passes may be checked out for 3 days, which includes your chosen date of pick-up and the due date.It is recommended that you reserve a pass for the day before you wish to visit the museum.

Museum passes are available to Islip Public Library adult cardholders, in good standing, 18 years of age and older.

IMPORTANT: Although information about each museum is provided as a courtesy, the library cannot guarantee its accuracy since museum policies and schedules change. Prior to making a reservation patrons must call the museum directly or check their website for up-to-date information regarding hours of operation, closings, special events, parking and/or directions.

No more than two (2) museum passes may be reserved within a 30 day time period; patrons may only reserve a maximum of one (1) museum pass/day.

Self-guided tours are available for individuals in the same household. Advance reservations are strongly advised. Every effort will be made to accommodate walks-ins, but due to social distancing guidelines from New York State and Nassau County, we urge all visitors to contact HMTC to schedule visits in advance.

Hours:
Monday thru Friday: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Sundays: 12 noon - 4 p.m. No walk-ins available. Advance reservations only.

Pass admits: Two Adult or Senior and up to four children (between the ages of 10 – 18 years) general admissions to the Holocaust Memorial Tolerance Center of Nassau County. Due to the nature of exhibition content admission is not recommended for Children 10 and under.

Booking:
All tours are limited to individuals from the same household. Garden tours are by appointment only, do not take place in inclement weather, and do not include access to the building. All visitors must submit to a temperature check before entering the building for an indoor museum tour. Masks must be worn at all times in the building and while participating in the garden tour. Social distancing guidelines must be followed. We appreciate your help in following the county and state guidelines designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 to ensure the safety of all visitors and staff.
