The museum tells the story of the Cheyenne beginnings during the construction of the Transcontinental Railroad, the Union Pacific Depot and the Railroad it is named after. You can view the Union Pacific Main Yard from the Coupler addition on the west end of the Depot, and experience more of the history of the Cheyenne Depot Museum. Celebrate the spirit, teamwork, optimism and sacrifices of the men and women who built and are the life of the Union Pacific Railroad, the Cheyenne Depot and the City of Cheyenne.

Dinosaur Ridge is one of the world's most famous dinosaur fossil localities with a family-friendly visitor center and trails for groups of all ages. The Trek Through Time exhibit hall is designed as a walk through different environments at different prehistoric dates.
