Museum Passes

Museum passes are available to Riverhead Free Library cardholders ages 18 and up. You may not check out museum passes on the card of anyone under 18. You may only check out the same pass once a month. (For instance, if you check out Harbes Barnyard Adventure on July 28, you may not have the pass on your card again until August 28)

NOTE: most of the museums are not open seven days a week. Please check the hours of the museum you wish to go to via that museum's web site before booking your pass. Museum passes can be picked up on the pickup date you choose and must be returned 2 days after pickup.

COVID-19 NOTICE: Many of the museums have COVID-19 restrictions. We strongly advise you to please check the websites of museums of  interest to ascertain whether they are open, their procedures, whether they require reservations on their website, and what their current hours are. Furthermore, many of the museums are altering admission procedures and/or requiring reservations on their website for specific time slots. Please make sure, if you are going to one of the museums that require registration on the museum website, that you do your reservation with the museum! If you forget to book on the museum end, the museum may not let you in.

If you are looking for the American Museum of Natural History, you can get those by visiting the Reference Desk with your Riverhead Free Library card to pick them up. You can get up to 4 tickets a year on your Riverhead Free Library card.

If you have any further inquiries, please email askadultref@riverheadlibrary.org or call 631-727-3228.

DISCLAIMER: You MUST cancel your reservation by the day before your reservation date if you are unable to use the pass.  If you "no-show" on a museum pass, the reservation system will not allow you to book the same pass for another 30 days.
