Museum Passes

Museum passes are available for Minuteman Library Network cardholders in good standing. 

Most museums require a pass or ticket as well as a reserved time slot at the museum. Please check museum websites for additional information. 

Please book only one date per month at each museum.

The Boston Harbor Islands, Children's Museum, Discovery Museum, Peabody Essex Museum, MFA and Museum of Science passes

are available as e-tickets and are sent to the email address on the booking card.

The deCordova/Trustees, Harvard Museums of Science & Culture, ICA, Isabella Stewart Gardner, Aquarium, and the Zoos are paper passes.  Pick these passes up at the library before your visit.

The Parks pass is a dashboard display and must be checked out and returned to the library.

This pass will admit up to 4 people at a 50% discount on tickets to the Museum’s Exhibit Halls. Children under 3 are not included in the count of 4 and are always admitted for free but must have a timed ticket.

Your Library pass can only be used on the date printed on the pass.  Museum hours are 9-5 Saturday-Thursday, 9-9 Friday.

YOU MUST ALSO CALL THE MUSEUM TO RESERVE A TIMED TICKET. Call 617-723-2500 (daily, 9am – 5pm).

Please call at least 1-2 days ahead to reserve your timeslot otherwise the Museum might be fully booked.

After you make your timed reservation with the Museum, they will send you an email confirmation with your reservation time.

Please bring both your library pass confirmation (printed or displayed on a phone) and your email confirmation from the Museum when you visit. Show both confirmations at the gate to enter. You do not need to stop at the Box Office.

If you are not able to show your Library confirmation on a phone or print from home, request a paper copy at the library.

The Museum is open for limited access, with timed entry and advance reservations.  Please use the code provided in your confirmation email (behind the "view pass info" link) to reserve your tickets at www.pem.org/tickets.  Entering the code will give you a "library discount" ticket option.  Each code provides 2 discounted adult tickets (at $12 each), and can be used for any day in the month.

Museum is open Thursday-Sunday, and Holiday Mondays

Without the pass, the museum charges are:

For Yu Tang, the Chinese House, there is an additional charge of $5. There may also be an additional charge for the Phillips Library and other special exhibits.
