How it Works: Check the Pass Details for each attraction to see the specific guidelines. Reserve a pass for the date you want to visit the destination. Go to a library and staff will provide a paper pass (except for the Durham Life & Science Museum). Be sure to give yourself enough time to pick up your passes and check the Alamance County Libraries website for library closures. Present the pass and any additional information needed at the attraction entrance and enjoy your day!
Borrower Eligibility: Patrons must have a valid library card in order to use this program. ZOOM passes are valid only for the date indicated on the pass. Three failures to pick up a ZOOM Pass will result in a 90 day suspension from utilizing the passes.
This pass allows entry to any standard safari tour. These tours are scheduled every Saturday and Sunday. Please call the Animal Park to reserve your time!
One admission per Zoom Pass. Passes can only be reserved once every 90 days. No limit on the # of passes per household, but only one pass per card.

COVID-19 GUIDELINES FOR YOUR VISIT TO THE ANIMAL PARK* - *UPDATED JANUARY 26th 2022*

For our organization’s Phase 2 of we have instituted the following policy:
Effective immediately the Animal Park will not require its employees, volunteers, or visitors to wear masks or face coverings while indoors or outdoors, with the exception of where social distancing can not be maintained.
This new protocol is consistent with Centers for Disease Control and State of North Carolina guidelines and covers all employees, volunteers, and visitors regardless of vaccination status.
- Encouraging guests to fill out the digital online waiver prior to visiting the Park. You can find them here.
- Restrooms will be limited to one group at a time (a group is a family or car unit that arrived together at the Park).
- Groups have been advertised as 20 people for public tours.
- Sanitizing and disinfecting will happen on all surfaces in the Gift Shop, building, and the bathrooms after every group.
Tour Waiver
Save time at check-in by completing our digital tour waiver ahead of time! It will also be available in the gift shop at check in.
Please forward this email or copy/paste the link above to the other adult members of your party, so they may complete their digital waiver ahead of time also.
(We require a waiver be filled out prior to the tour for ALL participants. If you are bringing participants under the age of 18, we require that a waiver be filled out by a legal guardian prior to the tour. If you are not the legal guardian of a minor you are bringing with you, the legal guardian MUST fill out a waiver for the child prior to the tour.)

What to Wear
The Animal Park is an outdoor facility that was built, first and foremost, with the care and well-being of our animal residents in mind. We have an unpaved, gravel tour path, and you may be walking in muddy areas; open-toed shoes or heels are not recommended. Please check the weather before your visit and dress appropriately for the temperature. We recommend sunscreen and hats when it is sunny, as your tour will include areas with minimal shade.
