COVID-19 CHANGES:

It is not necessary for you to make a reservation or purchase tickets in advance. Tickets may be purchased at the door; however, social distancing protocols will be in place, and we may need to ask you to wait for your turn to enter. Masks must be worn, and hand sanitizer will be provided.

THERE ARE SPECIAL COVID-19 PROCEDURES THAT ARE POSTED ON THEIR WEB SITE - PLEASE READ THIS INFORMATION BEFORE RESERVING YOUR PASS. Following is a summary of what is on the web site:

1. Reserve the library pass for the day you would like to go. We have passes for each day of the week.
2. Purchase tickets (and complete waiver) on the Davis' Farmland website. Select the option for "Library Guest Ticket."  Your tickets must match the day of the library pass that you use.
3. Print out your tickets from the Davis' Farmland website (or save them to your phone)
4. Pick up the library pass from TPL.
5. Show the library pass and tickets to get into the park.
6. Return the Pass to the library at the end of the day.

NOTE: The Davis' Farmland website says: "Must present Library Card from your library & online Davis Farmland Library ticket." You DO NOT need your library card - what they are referring to is the library PASS.

Sites are starting to reopen to visitors. Each tour is limited to just a few guests. All tickets must be purchased online in advance. No tickets will be sold at the sites.

Please arrive ten minutes before your scheduled tour time and meet your guide at the front entrance to the museum. Our visitor centers are closed. Wear a mask as soon as you get out of your car. Leave all large bags in your car or at home. Maintain at least six feet of distance from other groups.

Advance timed-tickets are required to allow for contactless entry, and we ask that visitors arrive to the museum no more than five minutes ahead of their designated time slot. Timed tickets can be reserved online at icaboston.org/tickets. When checking in at the museum, you must present the e-ticket that will be emailed to you from the museum, AND the library pass, that you will pick up at the library.

Note: There is a $4 per ticket service fee attached to online ticket purchases; If you would prefer to avoid this fee, the TPL has been told that it is an option to just show up and buy tickets at the museum, their attendance has been below what is allowed and, so far, have not needed to turn anyone away. If you plan on using this option, we suggest that you call ahead - 617-478-3100.

Spaces that do not allow for physical distancing, including The Bank of America Art Lab, Poss Family Mediatheque, and Barbara Lee Family Foundation Theater, will be closed until further notice. LOVE IS CALLING is currently closed.

All staff and visitors must wear face coverings in accordance with state and local regulations.

Please maintain physical distancing of 6 feet or more between yourself and fellow visitors and staff at all times.

Frequent hand washing is encouraged. Hand sanitizing stations have been installed throughout the museum; we ask that visitors refrain from using their own gels, sprays, or other liquids while in the galleries.

For the safety of all, bag and coat check is currently closed; bags must be 11 x 14 or smaller.

SPECIAL COVID-19 PROCEDURES:

All visitors will be required to reserve a timed-entry ticket for admission, including institutional pass holders. A library pass will not be accepted for admission into the Museum. Patrons must use the promo code provided by their library to reserve discounted admission tickets ahead of the reservation date.

Each promo code use provides up to two people with $10 admission per person.

Passes will no longer be date-specific to ensure flexibility in selecting an available date and timeslot.

To reserve discounted tickets online, patrons must visit mfa.org/tickets, select the date and type of ticket, and enter the promo code on the top right corner of the next page, which will activate the reduced admission rate.

  4. After you make your timed reservation with the Museum, they will send you an email confirmation with your reservation time.

SPECIAL COVID-19 PROCEDURES:

All visitors will be required to reserve a timed-entry ticket for admission, including institutional pass holders. A library pass will not be accepted for admission into the Museum. When arriving at the Garden, you will need to show the physical library membership card along with your booked tickets through your car window, or at the desk. A limited number of members and guests will be allowed on the property each day. You must register all visitors, including children. There will be no on-site ticket sales or reservations.
