The Walpole Public Library is pleased to offer a 4-part, in-person financial literacy series in partnership with Morrill Memorial Library, and presented by local financial advisor Michael Graff.*
The Tax Planning for Retirement Course scheduled for Wednesday, 5/18 at 7 PM in Walpole will offers strategies and methods designed to minimize taxes and create tax efficient streams of income over the 4 stages of retirement – Pre-Retirement (50s-60s), Early (60s-70s), Middle (70s-80s), and Later Retirement (80s-90s+). Each stage necessitates different lifestyle and cash flow needs, requiring income and/or distributions from different retirement resources, each of which with potentially different taxation requirements. People often end up paying more in taxes during retirement than necessary due to this complicated process and a confusing tax system.
Attend to learn about taxation of Social Security, traditional and Roth retirement accounts, dividends, bonds, annuities, life insurance, and other retirement resources, and how to coordinate all your income options for a tax efficient retirement income cash flow and estate transfer.
*The other programs in this series include:
Social Security: Know Your Options: Monday, 5/9 at 7:00pm, in-person at Morrill Memorial Library.
Rolling Over Your 401k & Understanding IRA's: Thursday, 5/12 at 7pm, in-person at Walpole Public Library.
Retirement Income Planning: Monday, 5/16 at 7:00pm, in-person at Morrill Memorial Library.

Walpole resident, Mark Resnick, discusses his new book, the writing process, and finding purpose and passion. During the darkest days of COVID-19, Alzheimer's stole his dad's memory, dignity, and, ultimately, his life - yet, out of this darkness, Mark found purpose, passion, and peace.
Ten Days with Dad is the story about family, progress, personal growth, and healing, born out of a terrible disease and a once-in-a-century global pandemic.
Mark Resnick is an entrepreneur, husband, father, coach and author.
