Just about everyone has ridden a bus - to school, to work, or just getting around town - let's learn some of the history of this famiiar mode of transport.

Ron Medaglia, Executive Director of the Pacific Bus Museum, will share his love of vintage buses and the history they represent. The Pacific Bus Museum, located at 37974 Shinn St., Fremont, CA maintains a collection of historic buses, bus artifacts and memorabilia.

Lego EV3 (FLL) Robotics Programming Workshop for Kids

Recommended for grades 4-8. Session length: 8 weeks on Tuesdays October 10, 2017 to November 28, 2017.

This hands-on LEGO EV3 programming workshop is intended for kids interested in learning about EV3 (FLL) programming language. Kids will learn EV3 controller, building blocks, and controlling the robot.  Also, kids will learn about Light sensors, color sensors and program control. Kids will learn basic EV3 programming and command and play with EV3.

This drop-in class is designed for 1st thur 6th graders.  It includes breathwork, kid-friendly yogic principles, stories, yoga poses, guided meditation, cooperative group activities, games, and more!!

Come with your comfortable clothes and take off your shoes -- we are going to have a lot of fun on the floor!!

** A yoga mat or a bath towel is required!

 

** Due to limited space, free tickets are available at 3:45 pm at the Children's Desk.

This free Chinese calligraphy class introduces the art of ink-brushes writing to students 8 -12 years old, and is taught by Professor Wang from the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Learning Center.  Classes will be hold every Wednesday 4-5 pm, starting September 20 through December 27, except for October 11, November 15, and December 13. Consistent attendance is highly recommended.  

Online registration highly recommended. Registration starts on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM at http://tinyurl.com/FRMKidsEvents, with limited space.
