Teen Take & Make Monday - Ugly Sweater Contest
The holiday season is almost here! And nothing says holiday cheer quite like an ugly sweater. To keep things fun and festive, we'll be having a little contest!

This Teen Take & Make Monday will be an ugly sweater decoration kit! You bring the old sweater, and we'll provide alllll the tacky decorations. Then, it's up to you to get to work creating the ugliest holiday sweater we have ever seen! Instructions will be uploaded to our Facebook page to give you some general ideas on creating your sweater, but there's really no "right" way to make an ugly sweater. Get creative and have fun!

Once you're done creating your sweater, snap a picture of your masterpiece and submit it to us to enter the contest. You will have until December 21st at 3:00 PM to work on your sweater and submit your photo. The winner will be announced December 23rd by the end of the day. The winner will receive a holiday prize!

Please submit pictures of your completed sweater via Facebook Messenger or email.

It's a Wonderful Lecture

Lecturer and motivational speaker Dustin Pari has done it again! It’s a Wonderful Lecture is a presentation that has truly resonated on a deep level with so many. Taking a look at the beloved classic It’s a Wonderful Life, Dustin uses quotes, scenes, and characters from the movie as he weaves a tale of commonality and humanity that brings us all together in love, kindness, and harmony. Hear the tale and feel the struggle of George Bailey, because his issues are our issues. We all walk through this human experience together, feeling the ripple of the lives of those around us.

Dustin recently presented "Halloween: A Haunted History" for us, which was very well received.  For more information on Dustin, visit his website at www.DustinPari.com.

Please call the Auburn Public Library Reference Desk at 207-333-6640, ext. 4, to register for this online event.  Those who register will be sent a Zoom link on the day of the event to join the program.
