Winter Reading Club is free and simple! Just stop into the library and pick up a reading record! Every time you read or listen to a book, simply record it by title or tally mark. You will receive raffle tickets for reading and become eligible to win prizes at the end of each month! Teen and adult clubs also available!
Join our preschool program where children ages 3-5 can explore stories through songs, retellings, STEM activities and a craft. A new letter of the alphabet will be introduced each week. No registration required. There will be no storytime on February 16 or March 30.

Teens in Grades 6-12 can join local artist Michelle and learn how to paint your own canvas 9x12 piece of artwork! Learn techniques using acrylic paint to create a take-home masterpiece ready to hang! Registration required for each paint night.
Fridays at 6:30 pm: January 26 and April 13
The focus of this program will be to help male youths, ages 13-19, learn about healthy relationships, consent, communication, respect, responsibility, sexual health, and their role in stopping violence in their communities and among their peers. This program is funded by the Allegheny County Department of Human Services and facilitated by the Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine from Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, UPMC. Don’t go stir-crazy this winter! Join our Monday morning caregiver/child playgroup for children birth-3 years! We will meet once a month, participate in a take-home art project along with a lot of play time with our new rice/water table, as well as fun learning, building and educational toys. It’s a great way to socialize, meet new caregivers and for your child to meet new friends! No registration required.
Mondays at 10:30 am: January 29, February 26, March 19 and April 23
Junior or Senior high school students can gather once a week for six weeks for a small SAT study group led by a current Baldwin High School senior highly experienced in SAT study and technique. Skills taught will include strengthening math and reading abilities, learning how to approach the test and developing time management skills. Each study session will conclude with a practice test. This group is limited to six students and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Please bring your own laptop/device if possible. Registration required (register once for all 6 sessions).

This storytime, for babies birth-24 months, will include books, songs, musical instruments, scarves, parachutes and bubbles along with baby playtime/socialization following storytime! A storytime specifically geared for toddlers who are 24-36 months old with a caregiver. We will read great stories, sing songs, and have plenty of music, movement, and fun that encourages your toddler’s language and development skills! Join us for a night of family art using various techniques and leave with a masterpiece designed by your entire family! No age limit requirements. A “how to draw” segment will be included in each program. Registration required.
