What’s Book Share? Not the same as a book club! Together we will be chatting about our latest books we’ve read (both likes & dislikes), talk about ways to find your next read and more! Pam and Nancy will also be providing a few recommendations for you! Registration optional for this new program.

The American Red Cross will host a babysitter training course to help participants develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe, help manage behavior during babysitting and learn basic child care and first aid. The cost is a discounted rate of $72.25/registrant which includes a take-home training handbook, emergency reference guide, CD and wallet-sized certificate of completion. This training is available to anyone ages 11 and up. Please bring a lunch. Registration required. You may register online or in person. Checks payable to Baldwin Borough Public Library are due before the training date.

Teens in Grades 6-12 can join local artist Michelle and learn how to paint your own canvas 9x12 piece of artwork! Learn techniques using acrylic paint to create a take-home masterpiece ready to hang! Registration required for each paint night.

Members of the Baldwin Board of Trustees are volunteers who donate their time and service to the library and it’s role in the community. The Board sets policy, fiscal goals and strategic direction in support of the Library’s mission and vision.
Baldwin Borough Public Library's Board of Trustees is composed of seven citizens of the community, appointed by Baldwin Borough Council. They serve 3-year terms and may be reappointed. The Board meets monthly at 7pm on the third Thursday of each month at the Library and all meetings are open to the public.
