Out of this World Summer Reading and Learning at Baldwin Library!

Join us for a summer filled with reading and programming at the Baldwin Library! There are summer reading clubs for adults (18 and older), teens (grades 6-12), and children (birth-5th grade). Adult summer reading needs no registration - just fill out a slip for each book read and enter to win one gift basket each month.  Teen and children summer reading requires registration - just stop into the library to sign up and get your summer reading bag to be on your way to a summer of reading and learning!

Tales for 2s and 3s

Ages: 24-36 months.

A weekly storytime specifically geared for toddlers 24-36 months old with a caregiver. We will read great stories, sing a lot of songs, and have plenty of music, movement and fun! Your toddler will love meeting new storytime buddies! To receive notifications, text @talesfor to 81010.

YOGreAt Yoga Camp - CANCELLED

Dates: Thursdays at 12:30 pm, June 13, 20, 27; July 25; August 1, 8, 15 

Registration?: Yes and begins May 15. Register for each session. Class size is limited to 12 students.

Ages: Grades 2-5.

Join Leah Younkins, BWSD Special Education Teacher and Registered Yoga Teacher, for a non-competitive 45 minute yoga class incorporating asana, breath work and a short meditation! Practice will be beginner friendly and fun! Class size will be limited to 12 students per class to provide individualized attention and instruction. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or towel and water.

Yoga for Teens - CANCELLED

Registration?: Yes and begins May 15.
 
Ages: Grades 6-12.
 
Teens entering grades 6-12 will practice the vinyasa flow style of yoga, which links breathing with yoga poses and movement.  No prior experience with yoga is necessary.  The practice can be modified to meet the needs of individual teens. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat or towel. Class dates include: June 13, 20, 27; July 25; August 1, 8, 15.

Kinderflute
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM

Registration?: Yes and begins May 15.

Ages: 4-9

KinderFlute is a program perfect for children ages 4-9 that teaches music and how to play flute through games and movement. We are offering two, FREE, introductory classes taught by a private flute teacher and KinderFlute instructor, Katie Shesko. Flutes and materials for activities will all be provided, with an option to borrow the practice instrument with a monetary deposit.

All ages are welcome to join us as the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh presents a short astronomy overview followed by a guided viewing of the wonders of the night sky through telescopes. Please bring along your own binoculars if you have them!
