What better way to use our outdoor library space that to have ADA accessible, 24/7 access to a book! Recognizing that each family’s schedule is different, our story walk is a great way for families to enjoy an outdoor literacy activity together at their own convenience. Our 8-stations Story Walk is a great conversation starter and vocabulary builder as well as an opportunity for families to be in the physical location of the library. At the conclusion of our Story Walk, participants will be able to take home a pre-packaged kit that will contain a craft activity related to the story as well as a related sheet that incorporates the five practices of early literacy: Read, Sing, Play, Talk and Write.
