9/11 United in Service: Baldwin Library Outdoor Transformation
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Join volunteers from The Mission Continues as they help us transform our outdoor space. You can help us paint & decorate our new fence beginning at 10 am. All are welcome!

The Mission Continues South Hills 3rd Platoon will be at the library for a meaningful day of service in memory of the 9/11 events.  Projects throughout the day include: building planter benches, building ADA picnic tables, installing and painting a fence and building/filling garden beds.

Yoga for Adults with Marian Luisi

Registration? Yes for each session attending. The class is donation-based. A $5 donation is suggested.

Ages: 18 and older. 

Marian has been teaching yoga for 15+ years. This is a vinyasa flow based class and she’ll mix it up each time so no one will be bored!  She will bring extra mats for those who need one.  Marian does the practice as she teaches it. Beginners are welcome to join, as well.

Paws for a Cause with Animal Friends

This program is taught by Ms. Beth from Clarity Wellness, who is a certified instructor of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for Teens.

KinderFlute is a program perfect for children ages 4-9 that teaches music and how to play flute through games and movement. We are offering two, FREE, introductory classes taught by a private flute teacher and KinderFlute instructor, Katie Shesko, followed by four group classes.  Caregivers will have the option to purchase a practice flute for $60 or rent one for $25 for the 4-week group classes.
