Rain Barrel Workshop w/ Pennsylvania Resources Council
6:30 PM

Learn how to practice watershed protection and conservation in your own backyard. It’s easier than you think!

Water  –that most precious resource – and available for the taking. Don’t miss out on an abundant, free supply of the earth’s most valuable resource–fresh, clean water! When you attend the Pennsylvania Resources Council’s (PRC) workshop you will learn how to harvest rainwater from your roof, store it, and use it in your landscape.

Raise your awareness of watersheds and watershed issues! While enjoying a free source of precious water you will be contributing to improved water quality in our rivers and streams, and reducing your contribution to combined sewer overflow (CSO), flooding, and polluted urban runoff.

PRC’s Celebrate the Rain! Watershed Awareness/Rain Barrel Workshop includes 90 minutes of instruction plus a FreeGarden RAIN 55-gallon, easy-to-install rain barrel.

Price: $80/person or $85 /couple

For information and/or to register contact Nancy at (412) 488-7490 X 247
