Casework On Your Corner
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Bethel Public Library is hosting Congresswoman Hayes’ staff for her new constituent services program, “Casework on Your Corner” (COYC).  This is a free, public, non-partisan service, open to all residents of Connecticut’s 5th District, regardless of documentation. If a constituent has a question for or problem with any federal agency (e.g IRS, SSA / Medicare, VA, or needs help with immigration issues, passports, etc.), the Congresswoman’s casework staff can inquire on behalf of the individual to get answers, cut out red tape, and resolve situations. While constituents are always welcome to call or visit Rep. Hayes’ Waterbury office, we are bringing “Casework on Your Corner” to all 41 towns in the district for those who need or prefer a local option. Residents of any town can drop in to any of these sessions.

Please note that Rep. Hayes is not scheduled to attend this event; it is an opportunity for local residents to share questions and casework with her staff.

That is all."  With this belief, King Sejong initiated numerous cultural achievements and scienfitic inventions to improve the welfare of his people.  To spread the benefits of such accomplishments, he enhanced the moveable metal type printing technology and printed large runs of books.  His most important contribution was the invention of the Korean Alphabet Hangeul, which he created to eradicate illiteracy in the country.
