READING ROCKS WITH PETE THE CAT

PERFORMED BY AL de CANT THE "SINGING PRINCIPAL"

An interactive musical show that promotes the joy of reading. It features songs from the popular "Pete the Cat" children's book series. Al will bring Pete and his adventures to life while kids sing and dance to the very cool and fun music!

For kids ages 3 - 10 years old. Children 7 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult.

No registration required to attend.

Please bring a blanket or chair to sit on during the program.

Harry Potter Camp

Are you a middle-schooler who loves Harry Potter?  Then join us for our Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone Camp!  This two week Summer Reading Camp is sponsored by Signum University and runs from July 16-July 27, but you do not have to attend every day; you can attend as many as you want.  First we'll listen to a lecture led by a college professor (aimed at middle school students) and then we will explore the Harry Potter universe and do themed crafts.  This program is for ages 10-14.

Taste of Korea: Korean Cuisine, Full of Wisdom and Nature

Join us as we welcome back the Korean Spirit and Culture Promotion Project for another exciting program on Korean history and culture!  This program begins with a cooking demonstration followed by a home-cooked meal served on traditional Korean bronzeware called Bangjja. Learn about the health benefits of fermented foods (70% of Korean foods are fermented), and the ancient form of Bangjja, which uses a unique ratio of copper (78%) and tin (22%) that defies modern engineering standards and can counteract infections and fight harmful bacteria.  A short film on Korean culture will be shown as well.

Wrinkle in Time Camp

Are you a middle-schooler who loves the book A Wrinkle in Time by Madeline L'Engle?  Then join us for our A Wrinkle in Time Camp!  This two week Summer Reading Camp is sponsored by Signum University and runs from August 6-August 17, but you do not have to attend every day; you can attend as many as you want.  First we'll listen to a lecture led by a college professor (aimed at middle school students) and then we will discuss the book and do themed crafts. This program is for ages 10-14.
