EXPERIENCING LIFE AS AN ADVENTURE – VIRTUAL EVENT
7:00 PM

Presented by Author Walter G. Meyer

Bethel Park native Walter G. Meyer used his time during the Covid lock down to start writing his memoirs one story at a time on Facebook. The result was his seventh book, “If You Weren’t Here, This Would Not Be Happening: plogs from my life,” a collection of dozens of humorous, tragic, and touching anecdotes including some about growing up in Bethel Park, his family’s relationship to the Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburghers’ connections to the Battle of Gettysburg, his travels and writing adventures, and celebrity encounters, (including one with fellow Pittsburgher Shirley Jones), and other odd jobs including working in Hollywood. The underlying theme of the book is that life is an adventure if you choose to live it as one. Walt’s presentation will be illustrated with photos from the book.

Register here online.  You will receive a link to the event shortly before the start date/time.
