One Hour Public Computer Reservation

Make a reservation to use a library public computer for crucial uses such as job searching, checking email, and printing, for up to one hour.   We request that patrons limit their reservations to no more than 2 reservations per week.

If you are working on resumes or other crucial documents that need to be saved, please either use an online program (like Google Docs) that automatically saves the document, or bring a flash drive for frequent saving.  The one hour time limit will be strictly enforced, so if you are unable to finish your work in one hour, you will need to make another reservation for a different day.

Unfortunately we cannot offer any computer assistance due to social distancing, so if you think you might need help, please bring someone with you who can assist you.

Printing costs are 15¢ per page for black and white, and 50¢ per page for color. We are not able to make change, so if you need to print, please bring the exact change. The printer takes coins and dollar bills, but no pennies or foreign coins. It also only takes $1 and $5 bills. It does not take any bills higher than $5.

REGISTRATION CLOSED.   (NO WAITING LIST)

Virtual Presidential Landmarks in New England

Do you know where in New England ...

  • The Oath of Office was taken by a President of the United States?
  • A plaque commemorates a Presidential visit to a bar?
  • You can see a coconut that saved a President's life?
  • A former President, accused of being a traitor, was almost lynched?

In this virtual presentation, author David Kruh, co-author with his father of the book "Presidential Landmarks in New England," will take you through 200 years of the U.S. Presidency, focusing on the native New Englanders who called the White House home. Most of the sites in New England dedicated to the U.S. Presidents, including birthplaces, homes, libraries, and yes, even bars, will be shown. This is a combination of history and travelogue, of interest to both the historically minded and tourist alike.

This is through the Zoom platform. Please register and you will receive a link to access the event several days beforehand.

This program is made possible by support from the Friends of the Bellingham Library.
