EVERYONE HAS A VOICE

Jean Dany Joachim is the current Poet in Residence at the First Church in Cambridge and is also an author of short stories and plays.  He created the Many Voices Project, a series of readings and follow-up poetry workshops inspiring conversation about race and equality.

Mr. Joachim is a 2017 Massachusetts Cultural Council grant receipent for his play Your Voice Poet.

 Brockton Public Library and Brockton Poet Philip Hasouris Team Up  To Celebrate Brockton's Diversity Through Poetry. EVERYONE HAS A VOICE is a series that teams up veteran poets with local students. In addition to having two fabulous poets members of the audience are encouraged to tak the micand share their words with the community. This month features Regie Gibson. Mr Gibson has lectured and performed in the U.S., Cuba and Europe. He is a former National Poetry Slam Champion and has been highlighted on HBO Def Poetry Jam, On Point , Radio Boston and other NPR porgrams. EVERYONE HAS A VOICE

 Brockton Public Library and Brockton Poet Philip Hasouris Team Up  To Celebrate Brockton's Diversity Through Poetry. EVERYONE HAS A VOICE is a series that teams up veteran poets with local students. In addition to having two fabulous poets members of the audience are encouraged to tak the micand share their words with the community. This month features Regie Gibson. Mr Gibson has lectured and performed in the U.S., Cuba and Europe. He is a former National Poetry Slam Champion and has been highlighted on HBO Def Poetry Jam, On Point , Radio Boston and other NPR porgrams. Mr. Gibson is teamed up with Brockton High Senior, Leylani Monizwho started writing poetry in her freshman as a means to understand the world around her.
