ORGANIZE YOUR CLOSET & SAVE MONEY

Declutter and Organize Your Closet

Reserve your spot today! There are only 15 spots per session.

Please do not register if you are not serious about attending.

This hand-on, virtual workshop guides you through the process of organizing a closet that makes getting dressed take less time with less stress. Set up your device near your closet so you can get to work. Intimidated by the idea of pulling everything      out of your closet? Have no fear, we’ll use a minimal mess technique that allows you to declutter your closet without worrying about ending the night with your bed hidden by a pile of clothing you still need to sort through. We’ll also discuss shopping      techniques that will save you from buying clothing destined to clutter your closet. You don’t need any special organizing products, but you do want boxes (or bags) that you can fill with clothing you want to donate or sell.
Susan McCarthy of ALessClutteredLife.com is a professional organizer, writer, and coach. She is a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals. Through NAPO University she’s received Specialist Certificates in Life Transitions, Workplace Productivity, Residential Organizing, and Household Management

Registration required.  This will be a Zoom presentation.  Register online through the Calendar of Events link at www.blackstonepubliclibrary.org.  Login information for this Zoom event will be emailed the day before the program.

This program is brought to you with federal funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services and administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

Living a More Sustainable, Simple and Off-Grid Life

Living without the networked grid of utilities, including water, electricity, waste management and communications media has been a way of life for humans for thousands of years. Easier to accomplish in less developed regions of New England, Isa will plant seeds of hope for us to help heal the natural environment and live with less where possible too. Reducing dependence on both: Super-Consumerism and municipal entities, we'll address topics such as minimizing plastics and other packaging, saving money by doing things for ourselves, and sourcing healthy food. The underlying theme is caring for Planet Earth as the limited resource it is, for animals and humans alike.
Isa B. Cann earned an M.A. in Regional Economic and Social Development, with a focus in Sustainable Development; and critical media awareness. She has deep and wide experience teaching/training and presenting to youth and adults in various venues. She also design-builds tiny houses/other buildings on wheels; i.e., trailers.

Please be advised that patrons, participants, and library staff are NOT permitted to record this program.

Registration required.  This will be a Zoom presentation.  Register online through the Calendar of Events link at www.blackstonepubliclibrary.org.  Login information for this Zoom event will be emailed the day before the program.
