Learn to make a live wreath at this hands-on workshop using a variety of materials including live greens, holly, ribbons and more. Taught by URI Master Gardener Lee Menard. This class is limited to 20 participants and is strictly for adults. Participants are asked to bring a wire coat hanger or wreath ring, pruning shears, work gloves and any special decorative items they would like to include.

“Stress Relief Through Drawing”
Participants will use charcoal and pencil to learn stress relief through drawing. Students will learn how to draw animals from around the world while looking at other artists for inspiration. This drawing class is for all levels – beginners to advanced! Materials will be provided. For ages 10 – 17.

Participants should bring their own undecorated evergreen or artificial wreath and clippers. Instructors will assist with enhancing the wreath with greens donated by Bears Tree Farm in Blackstone and a custom made bow created by our talented instructors! As an alternative, small sprays may be made with materials provided.

Celebrate National Gingerbread House Day and decorate a gingerbread house to be displayed at our library for the holiday season!
While on display, patrons will vote on their favorite-
