Movies in the Village

The City of Colleyville's newest community event is Movies in the Village and features a free, family friendly outdoor movie! Bring your blanket and lawn chairs and kick off the holiday season by watching Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas, rated PG. (This is the live-action version released in 2000.) The outdoor viewing area will be on the lawn south of City Hall, near Casa Lane and Terra Cotta Lane.

The event opens at 5:30 p.m. and the movie will begin at 6:30 p.m.

So Cal Tacos (food truck) will be onsite and Library staff will be offering free hot chocolate and popcorn.

Are you interested in volunteering at the public library? Do you need community service hours for school? Volunteer opportunities are available to teens ages 13-18. To volunteer, click here to fill out an online application. You will receive an email with a permission slip attached. Have it signed by a parent if you are under 18, and return it to the library prior to attending one of the training sessions. Training sessions are MANDATORY and are held the first Tuesday of every month from 6:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. Thank you for volunteering!
