The LEGO Movie @ Central

   "The first ever full length theatrical LEGO movie follow Emmet, an ordinary, reules-following, perfecrly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identifes as the  most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1490017/  Break-out LEGO building time as well.

Fantastic Book Club - Building a Better World

On August 9, we will discuss The Wright 3 by Blue Balliet. In the midst of a series of unexplained accidents and mysterious coincidences, sixth-graders Calder, Petra, and Tommy lead their classmates in an attempt to keep Frank Lloyd Wright's famous Robie House from being demolished.

Could you surive 300 years in the past? Build your skills in this six-week history adventure for kids entering Grades 3 - 8. Each week participants will build their survival toolkit by learning the skills necessary for life in the past and the people who made it all happen. Registration is required, space is limited.

Week Three: Learn how to make a bread starter, churn your own butter and prepare a loaf of dough to bake at home.
