Drones for beginners @ Hall

Cloud City Drones of Warwick will present "Drones for Beginners" at the William Hall Library, 1825 Broad St. in Cranston on Tuesday, June 27. Young people age 11 to 18 are invited to learn about drone basics, including types of  drones, how they are used, licensed and regulated now; the future of drones and of course, to see them fly! Escape Room: Escape From Space! @ Hall

In this outer-space themed escape room, participants will learn that their ship's captain has gone rogue and sabotaged the ship! Test your wits against the clock as you work with other crew members to solve a series of puzzles before time runs out and your vessel is boarded by space pirates! Registration is required, space is limited.

Teen Tuesdays: Build it! @ Central
2:30 PM - 4:00 PM

Teen Tuesdays fun abounds in this hands-on opportunity to build a variety of cool structures. Create pyramids, bridges, towers and more, using a variety of materials. Try to create the tallest tower or the pom pom launcher that shoots the farthest in our engineering challenges. Refreshments will be served. This program is open to those entering grade 6 through grade 12.  Registratiion is recommended but not required.

Create Toys for Shelter Cats @ Central

Would you like to make a difference in your community by creating cat toys at your library to be donated to Providence Animal Rescue League? Drop in on July 11 from 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm. This program is open to teens entering grade 6 through 18 year olds. You may earn community service hours for this activity. No registration is necessary.
