Make a Gingerbread House! @ Oak Lawn

This program is currently filled to capacity. There is space on a waiting list.

Families are invited to make a graham cracker gingerbread house at Oak Lawn! Graham crackers, frosting, and some candy will be provided at no charge. Feel free to bring in additional candy for your own personal touch! Each family will create one gingerbread house together.  Space is limited to 10 families and registration is required.

RIMSBA Book Club @ Central

The Rhode Island Middle School Book Award (RIMSBA) is a new book award, specifically for Middle School students. At each meeting we'll discuss four of this year's nominees, tied to a theme. Students can read one or more book for each session. In February, members of the club will vote for their favorite title and the votes will be submitted to the state to help select the first ever winner.

The December theme is "Human Ills." Visit  https://cranstonlibrary.org/rimsba-book-club for a list of this month's discussion titles. Students should read at least one book on the list before the meeting. Copies of the titles will be available at the Children's Desk for club members.

The Rhode Island Middle School Book Award (RIMSBA) is a new book award, specifically for Middle School students. At each meeting we'll discuss four of this year's nominees, tied to a theme. Students can read one or more book for each session. In February, members of the club will vote for their favorite title and the votes will be submitted to the state to help select the first ever winner.

The January theme is "Where Do I Fit In?." Visit  https://cranstonlibrary.org/rimsba-book-club for a list of this month's discussion titles. Students should read at least one book on the list before the meeting. Copies of the titles will be available at the Children's Desk for club members.

The Rhode Island Middle School Book Award (RIMSBA) is a new book award, specifically for Middle School students. At each meeting we'll discuss four of this year's nominees, tied to a theme. Students can read one or more book for each session. In February, members of the club will vote for their favorite title and the votes will be submitted to the state to help select the first ever winner.
