The program model involves reading the Briefing Book, watching the DVD and meeting in a Discussion Group to discuss the most critical global issues facing America today. Creative Writing for Teens

Be prepared to write, read, and share your work; receive constructive feedback; learn the fundamentals of fiction; and explore two of the most popular literary genres. Open to aspiring authors at all levels. Bring paper and pen (or a laptop/tablet), and your imagination.

Registration is required. Every Saturday from April 7 - May 26.

The summer reading program "Libraries Rock" is just around the corner and we are looking for student volunteers. If you want to have fun, and can commit to working 2 hours a week, come to the library beginning Tuesday, May 29th to apply and secure a spot. (Popular time slots fill quickly.) Volunteers MUST be accompanied by an adult when registering.
