Be prepared to write, read, and share your work; receive constructive feedback; learn the fundamentals of fiction; and explore two of the most popular literary genres. Open to aspiring authors at all levels. Bring paper and pen (or a laptop/tablet), and your imagination.

Registration is required. Every Saturday from April 7 - May 26.

 Summer Reading Student Volunteers! 

The summer reading program "Libraries Rock" is just around the corner and we are looking for student volunteers. If you want to have fun, and can commit to working 2 hours a week, come to the library beginning Tuesday, May 29th to apply and secure a spot. (Popular time slots fill quickly.) Volunteers MUST be accompanied by an adult when registering. 

Please note, children must be entering Grade 5 or above.

Edible Plant Walk

Join Rich Giordano on an edible walk to prowl the fields of Heritage Park. You may a bring notebook/pen and a camera to document edible treasures! Giordano was the former manager of Old Sturbridge Village historic herb gardens and is the current manager of All Hill Farm in West Brookfield. For ages 15+. 

There will be no actual eating on the walk and meeting place will be at the Heritage Park sign next to the playground, NOT at the library. Registration required.

Performed by award-winning actor and musician Gary Reid, A Life Of Sorrow-The Life and Times of Carter Stanley is a one-man play with music about a mountain music legend. This performance affords today’s audiences a chance to connect with a bluegrass treasure as “he” tells the story of his life in old-time mountain music.
