Early application deadlines are 11/1, 11/15, and 12/1 with regular decision deadlines just around the corner! Come learn a little about what colleges really want to see in the supplemental essays, common app essays, and additional information section of the Common App! Our session will begin with an overview of the most important aspects of the Common App essay, supplemental essays, and additional information section. Library Pokémon GO Fest

Calling all Pokémon GO Trainers! Join us at the library for a day of catching and trading Pokémon playing the popular Pokémon GO mobile game. Library staff will be placing Lures at all of our PokeStops so you'll have extra good luck in finding Pokémon. Trainers who are Level 10 and higher can also trade Pokémon and battle with each other. Weather permitting, we may also organize a raid on one of the nearby PokeGyms. Don't know how to play? Our library Trainer will be happy to show you how!

You will need a mobile phone and the Pokémon GO app in order to participate in the online activities, but we will also have make-your-own papercraft Pokémon and duct tape Pokeballs and snacks in our newly-renovated Teen Space. All ages are welcome, elementary-age or younger must have a caregiver present.
