March 14th Session #1
Planning is an Act of Love for Myself and My Loved Ones
This class will show how planning can decrease the stress of losing a loved one. This structured presentation will offer handouts, and room for question and answer.
- What is an Advance Directive?
- What is a Health Care Proxy and how to choose the best one?
- How do you communicate your wishes to your loved ones?
Our presenter is Susan Sweeney. After watching the effect of her father dying on her three siblings and herself, Ms. Sweeney understood that each was grieving in different ways. This led her to becoming a certified End of Life Doula. This training prepared her to provide end of life planning as well as non-medical care for those dying and their loved ones. Please register to save your spot at this class.
