"The Next Chapter Book Club [an international organization] is committed to providing weekly opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to read, learn and make friends in a relaxed, community setting. Instructor Kali Smith teaches a 6-week beginner-level course on crocheting. This is for teens and adults who have no experience, or may have tried crocheting sometime in the past, but are interested in re-learning the basics. Kali will start with how to hold the hook and include how to read a pattern, gauge, joining a new color, seaming, several stitches and more.
Please commit to coming to all 6 sessions. Registration is required. Space is limited to 10 people for an optimum learning environment.
