Kids of all ages are invited to "come play outside" every Wednesday afternoon (weather permitting.) Each week will follow a theme: sidewalk chalk, obstacle courses, water play, and more!

Get colorful and join us on the children's room patio to tie dye a bandana. One bandana will be provided per participant but you are welcome to bring anything else (t-shirt, tote bag, etc) that you would like to tie dye. Ages 6+ Registration required. 

Step off the Beaten Path and into the Big Outdoors in this fun-loving Participatory Program with award-winning storyteller Diane Edgecomb. We’ll go on a fossil dig in Montana to discover a new dinosaur and take on the world’s sassiest bugs all before we break out our lunch pails. Join in the stories, songs and FUN that have made Diane Edgecomb one of New England’s favorite storytellers. Diane has been featured on NPR and is a winner of a Parent’s Choice award for her CDs and recordings.

Roger Williams Zoomobile will be bringing a few animals friends to the library! Visit with the animals and learn all abou them.

“Let us bring the Zoo to you! Through interactive educational presentations and live “animal interviews,” the Zoomobile carries a message of compassion for all living things along with a greater understanding of our wonder-filled planet.”

Miss Liz from Dental Associates of Walpole will be visiting the library for a Smart Smiles storytime to teach kids about good dental hygiene. 

Babies and toddlers under 2 with a caregiver are welcome to come and meet new friends, and play with the toys and gym equipment purchased with funds from the Friends of Fiske. Masks are required for everyone over two.

Design a camp lantern that actually lights up! Ages 4+

Come be whisked away to outdoor adventures in the Great Indoors as we explore campsite activities with a science twist! Learn the mechanics of camping necessities like binoculars and compasses then make your own to take home! Sit around our “campfire” and play a melody on a harmonica that you lash together.

This program will be presented by the Children’s Museum of Easton, supported by a grant from the Wrentham Cultural Council, a local agency supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Miss Julie will be here to teach kids campfire songs on the ukulele! Participants will learn how to hold, strum, fret and read chord diagrams - everything one needs to know in order to play the ukulele.

Ukuleles will be provided for all (or you can bring your own!) Ages 7+

 Learn how to perform easy impromptu magic using items that you would take on a camping or hiking trip such as: "Fly away Birdie," "Ghost Hankie," "Do as I Do," and of course "How to Cut your Friend in Half!"  I supply all of the materials required for your patrons to have a chance to practice and learn the effects. Ages 7+

Join Miss Hayley at the Wrentham Fiske Library in for a StoryWalk, craft, and more! The story is The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.
