Mandy from Wicked Good Henna will teach all about henna!
Participants will get a brief education about the history and culture of henna before getting to work making their own paste.You'll learn how to recognize chemical henna and understand its dangers, and come to understand why making fresh, natural henna is critical to public safety. All patrons will receive a link to a video helping them to check for dye release and get the paste into cones when they are ready the following day.
Supplies for the class are limited; participation will be on a first come-first served basis.
The end of the workshop includes henna designs for everyone! All are welcome for this portion, as long as time permits.

She subsequently received her Master’s Degree in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education in May of 2001. Emily is a Massachusetts licensed teacher of Spanish and ESL. She taught in traditional public schools from 2001-2011, then moved to a public charter school for one year before leaving full time teaching to raise her family. She worked in a Waldorf-inspired elementary school for five years before the school closed down at the end of the 2018-2019 school year. She started working with homeschool students and has offered Spanish classes to students from K-12 for the past two years.

Learn some basics of Spanish while having fun! We will learn things like colors, days of the week, weather, numbers, family members, and animals.

She received her BA in Spanish and Second Language Acquisition from Brigham Young University in April 2000.
