RAISE Them Up is a four week series of parenting classes, with food, childcare and fun! Parents are invited to enjoy a relaxing evening as they learn new parenting strategies and techniques, meet friends, find support, guidance and become familiar with the Nurturing Parenting Program principles in a very open, non-judgmental setting. Dinner, childcare and fun for the whole family provided! This free program is offered by trained facilitators from Eaton RESA. Please register through Eaton RESA Raise Them UP or go to Eatonresa.org and search professional development. The classes are held at the Grand Ledge Area District Library.

Coding and computer science are a new kind of digital literacy, and libraries all over the U.S. are stepping up to help everyone build 21st century skills. We’re launching our very own Code Club -- No coding expertise necessary. Your kids can learn important tech skills and have fun along the way. They’ll work on learning how to make websites, video games, apps, animations, and more! Code Club will meet every Wednesday starting January 15th from 6:00-7:00 pm in the Shipman Room. Every few weeks we’ll host a coding showcase. For ages 8-18. Code Club is made possible by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Science
