A gathering to support and serve our community through crafting. Bring something to work on to be completed at home. The donations will benefit the Grand Ledge Food and Clothing Pantry and Hannah's House. ALL skill levels are welcome to attend.

It’s a “Universe of Stories” this summer at The Grand Ledge Area District Library! Come visit our booth at Yankee Doodle Days “Kid’s Day” and make a “Space” craft, enjoy a frozen treat and sign up for the Summer Reading Program to earn fun prizes for reading. Rain location: 1931 Room – we’ll celebrate come rain or shine!
We've made a time and a place available for any and all area homeschool families to meet, study, discuss-- together! Share ideas with other home-schoolers, collaborate on projects, use library resources for learning, and enjoy some fellowship together. All area homeschool families are welcome! Description:Meet at GLADL Tuesdays at 11 am and follow the little red wagon to the Trinity Episcopal Church playground for a family storytime filled with stories, songs, activities and a snack! An outdoor summer story-time for children (and their caregivers) with themed activities: music, bubbles, water play—and time for play with your Storytime friends too! Open to children of all ages. Families may bring chairs, a picnic blanket and a lunch. Rain location: 1931 Room – Stories to be told rain or shine!
The Grand Ledge Garden Club is "growing"! We meet at the Grand Ledge Area District Library on on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 1 pm. For those who cannot attend at that time, we also meet six Saturdays a year (Jan., Mar., May, July, Sept., and Nov.), from 11 am to noon! Are you a lifelong gardener? Garden Club is perfect for you! Interested in learning and helping? Garden Club has a spot for you. Join the Grand Ledge Garden Club for fun and fellowship all year around.
Ron Loyd “The Bubbleman” and Gloria Loyd “The Bubblewoman” have performed bubble magic for over 30 years. During this 45 minute program, they use ordinary soap bubble solution to create volcano bubbles, tornado bubbles, kaleidoscope bubbles, square bubbles, merry-go-round bubbles and much more. Their program is filled with ideas to be tried at home, involves audience participation and is designed to teach children and adults the joy of exploring science by playing with the simple bubble.

Hear the songs about the planets, the universe, black holes, stars with a "rings of Saturn" hula hoop contest finale. Also with Star Wars and Star Trek references and trivia! Rick Kelly will engage audience members of all ages!
Description:Adults and families can visit Fox Park Observatory to use and enjoy the telescopes on Deep Space Viewing Night, June 28 & 29. Viewing starts at dark-- about 9:30 pm each night. Description:Family friendly movies and games. Join us in on the Fitzgerald Ball Field near the Island Park for a fun outdoor movie brought to you by the Chamber of Commerce, City of Grand Ledge, and your Library. ! Gates open at 8pm with activities, cartoons and trivia games with the movie to follow at dusk.. During the week, stop by the Library to enter a movie-themed drawing. Prizes will be awarded during movie night.
