Summer Reading Kick-Off: Imagine Your Story; Myths Legends & Fairy Tales

 Imagine Your Story-- Myths Legends and Fairytales abound in our Summer Reading Program! Cabin Fever Conversations: Gardening with MSU Extension

MSU Extension presents “Cabin Fever Conversations”-- lighthearted, educational conversations about gardening. Each session features a guest with a specialty like seeds, houseplants, pollinator health, etc. Have a question? There will be a Q&A at the end. We'll be using Zoom for these conversations. Chronic Pain PATH: Virtual Workshop

Join facilitators from the Tri-County Office on Aging (TCOA) for a virtual workshop for those facing the challenge of Chronic Pain: 

Chronic Pain PATH (Personal Action Toward Health) is designed for individuals with chronic pain. In this virtual workshop, participants are taught effective tools to better self-manage their condition and its impact on their life. We address a variety of topics including fatigue management,dealing with difficult emotions, and pacing & planning. Includes the MovingEasy Program: safe exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and endurance.

What: Chronic Pain PATH workshop

Where: Virtually with Zoom. For your security,TCOA sends program registrants a Zoom contact to join the meeting.

When: Wednesdays, June 10 – July 15, 2020 from 10:00 am – 12 noon. Open for you to join at any time during this series.

Chronic Pain PATH (Personal Action Toward Health) is designed for individuals with chronic pain. In this virtual workshop, participants are taught effective tools to better self-manage their condition and its impact on their life. We address a variety of topics including fatigue management,dealing with difficult emotions, and pacing & planning. Includes the MovingEasy Program: safe exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and endurance.

Fire Breathing Dragon Take-Home Craft!

Imagine Your Story and bring a mythical creature from legend to life! Use your artistic talents and creativity to create your own "Fire Breathing Dragon" Take-Home Craft with supplies from the library! At 3pm on June 29, we'll host a ZOOM presentation on Fire Breathing Dragons! We’ll discuss Myths & Legends of the dragon as we assemble our dragons make one step-by-step with you. in a fun storytelling atmosphere!
