You find elves busy everywhere this time of year-- but our "Elf on the Library Shelf" has a special job! He's here to take your letters to Santa! Every time you visit the library, be sure to look for our busy Elf-- he really moves around! See if you can find him-- and if you do, come and tell us where he is for a special treat!
While you're here, you can leave a letter for Santa in our special mail box. If you'd like a "Santa Letter" to fill in, we have those too-- just ask at the desk.
Our library Elf will be here until Dec 23, when he'll hurry off to the North Pole to bring Santa your letters!

Timely, timeless, funny, touching... read a sampling of poetry from our library collections and from books in the MEL interloan system, on our GLADL Facebook page each Sunday. We select poems famous and obscure, classical and current, from all around the world and from local and regional poets too. Whenever possible, featured poems are linked to the book, or music resource , so you can easily follow up to read more. Join us on our Facebook for Poetry from Our Shelves.
