Charlie the Reading Therapy DogA 6-Week Reading Program

We're excited to welcome “Charlie” a certified reading therapy dog to our program designed to encourage readers at all levels to practice their skills in a judgment-free environment.
 
Children will have the opportunity to schedule 15 minutes of one-on-one reading with Charlie on a regular basis at the Library. Reading times will be at 6:00, 6:15, 6:30, 6:45, 7:00 & 7:15 Wednesday evenings.

Submit entries to Joshua in Teen Services at the Library, or e-mail to: joshuad@goffstownlibrary.com. Your work will NOT be shared with the public or posted online, and work submitted remains the property of the writer.

Winner will receive a $25 gift card and be announced on Wednesday, February 28. Works will be judged on Use of Characters, Setting, Content, Organization, Syntax/Sentence Structure, and Grammar/Mechanics.
