Every month the paintings, photography, sculpture and other creative crafts are displayed in the Helen Gould Room located directly off the main foyer, and in the Lower Lobby display cases. We are pleased to present the following exhibitions:

January:  Sylvan Martin is a graphic artist trained at Farmingdale College on Long Island. He also expresses his artistic ability as a professionally trained chef and graduate of New York Restaurant School in Manhattan. When he is not in the kitchen, most of his time is spent photo shooting. To Sylvan, photography is an art where the camera is a paintbrush. “Always take your time, let the image come to you. All you have to do is just look around you. Our world is full of art.”

February:  Love Potion Number 9 is local artist Arianna Papalardo's collection of colorful, vibrant art photography and sculpture with the feminine approach of girl like charm transitioning into womanhood. The idea is that art can remain colorful, innocent and feminine in a world of black and white. Art cannot be envied, only liked or disliked, and only to a certain degree and in comparison to other art. You love someone because you love someone, but for an artist you love someone because they are, and in so many various ways. An Artist Reception will be held on Sunday, February 16 from 2:00-4:00 pm in the Helen Gould Room.
