Seed Starter Kit - Take and Make

April 22nd is Earth Day. To celebrate, start your own herb garden. We will provide a kit and instructional video. Due to the library closure, kits will be available prior to April 19th or after May 10th. Available to Hicksville Library cardholders. Supplies are limited, therefore, we are limiting this event to one kit per family. Each kit is pre-made and the selection of herbs will be given at random. Registration is required. Registrants will be emailed with instructions on where to pick up their kits.

This lecture by Jim Coll surveys the historical development of the United States Constitution.  Topics covered include the Constitutional Convention of 1787 and the relationship between the various branches of government.  Emphasis is placed on how political, social and ideological change effected the structure, function and content of this supreme Law of the Land.  Particular attention is given to examining the impact of influential events at the state level during the late 1700s and the weakness of the Articles of Confederation.
