Have you always wanted to play guitar? Do you have a guitar at home collecting dust? Come rock with Chris Fury, a native Long Island full time guitar player.  We will go over the fundamentals of guitar playing including identifying parts of the guitar, proper fingering technique, scales, chords, and even tackle a song or two. Both Electric and Acoustic guitars are welcome and no previous music or guitar experience is needed. If you have guitar skills already feel free to join the class, as there will be time for a Q&A throughout. The live videos will be posted on facebook.com/hicksvillelibrary and the video will be available after the live feed has ended if you want to rewatch.

Have you always wanted to play guitar? Do you have a guitar at home collecting dust? Come rock with Chris Fury, a native Long Island full time guitar player.  We will go over the fundamentals of guitar playing including identifying parts of the guitar, proper fingering technique, scales, chords, and even tackle a song or two. Both Electric and Acoustic guitars are welcome and no previous music or guitar experience is needed. If you have guitar skills already feel free to join the class, as there will be time for a Q&A throughout. Have you always wanted to play guitar? Do you have a guitar at home collecting dust? Come rock with Chris Fury, a native Long Island full time guitar player.  We will go over the fundamentals of guitar playing including identifying parts of the guitar, proper fingering technique, scales, chords, and even tackle a song or two. Both Electric and Acoustic guitars are welcome and no previous music or guitar experience is needed. If you have guitar skills already feel free to join the class, as there will be time for a Q&A throughout. The live videos will be posted on facebook.com/hicksvillelibrary and the video will be available after the live feed has ended if you want to rewatch.

Join Tina Geller for an evening of relaxation and socialization.  We will create an original painting entitled "A Garden of Butterflies" for that "special lady" in our lives.  Materials you will need include:  good watercolor paper or a canvas board, watercolor paints and/or pencils, a very fine black sharpie, a very fine paintbrush, and white and black tempera paints or acrylic paints (if you have them).  You will be sent a zoom invite on the morning of the program.

There are 14 spaces available.
