Needlepoint for Beginners

Have you always wanted to learn how to do needlepoint?  A beginners' class will start on March 4 and will run for 10 weeks.  All materials will be provided, but you will need to bring your own scissors.  The class is taught by one of our volunteers who has been doing needlepoint for almost 30 years, and has led classes in Lower Merion Library System for several years.

From 6pm to 8pm we will be creating fabulous things to be put on display in our cases out in the lobby of the library. Judges will go over each item and pick the 5 most inventive creations for prizes. You must complete your entry and submit it with your name and age before the end of March. All creations become the property of Ludington Library. The display will be from April 1 to May 3. One entry per person. You must be ages 15 and under. Creations cannot be too large in size but you may work on it consecutive nights. It must be your own work. All Legos will be provided for you to work with. All creations must stay at the library at all times and can only be worked on during Lego night hours. We are proud to say this is a STEM event.

Join the appraisal event at Ludington Library on Saturday, March 23rd from, 1:00 - 3:00pm, and ask Michael Ivankovich to answer these questions. A professional appraiser, Ivankovich is the radio show host of WBCB 1490's "What's It Worth? Ask Mike the Appraiser." He has over 40 years of experience in the auction, antiques and collectibles business.

A limited number of free appraisals will be available to attendees of this program. Mike will appraise one item for the first 30 guests registered. If event registration is not filled, appraisals may continue until 30-item limit is reached.  Registration required for appraisals.  Registration isn't required if you simply wish to attend without any items for appraisal.

PENN WYNNE French Hair Braiding

Join us for a 45-minute session and learn to French braid! This event is fun for everyone, and no experience is necessary :) Parent-Child French Braiding Clinic! This event is open to the first 15 pairs to sign up. Please bring a hair brush, hair ties, and a smile. Registration begins one week before, March 23rd at 8:00 a.m.
