Rain/Shine YA Event

Gladius Live!
Outside in our Gazebo Park come see a flamenco guitar come to life!
All Ages Concert Program
Determined to entertain as well as inspire audiences of all ages, this award-winning ‘musical mad-scientist’ explores a multi-cultural mixture of musical styles, and demonstrates the art
of perseverance—the guitarist has prevailed over a crippling case of nerve damage which could have easily ended a musician's career...inspired by the great composers, Spanish guitar
maestros, and much more, this musical mad scientist fuses the elements into a refreshing formula—evoking the Spanish spirit, yet distinctly unorthodox. For more information, go to: http://www.gladiusmusic.com/live_music_shows.html
If it rains he will perform in our Large Meeting Room.

Music Under the Stars with The Lewis Brothers Bluegrass Band

Friday, August 9th  |  7:00pm  |  Bryn Mawr Gazebo

Celebrate the end of summer reading with a bit of authentic bluegrass music under the stars.  The Lewis Brothers are one of Philadelphia's best known bluegrass bands.  They have been together since 1985 and in that time, have developed a highly polished, classic bluegrass sound-complete with tight vocal harmonies and some of the most exciting instrumentals in the area.  They have shared the stage with greats like Dailey and Vincent, J.D.Crowe and the New South, Chris Hillman and Herb Pedersen.  As a member of the John Herald Band, Wanamaker Lewis shared the stage with Pete Seeger, Joan Baez, Ritchie Havens, Doc Watson and many more.  The Lewis Brothers bring high energy to every performance with a repetoire that includes classic bluegrass from Bill Monroe to Flatt and Scruggs to some contemporary as well.

Lawn seating  - bring a blanket or chair for comfort.  Concert will take place rain or shine.  FREE and open to the public.

This concert is generously funded by the Lower Merion Library System and The Margery B. Hall Programming Fund.
