Ask AAA - What is a REAL ID and Why Do I Need One?
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

There you are at the airport, boarding pass in hand, bags checked.  All that lies between you and your dream vacation is the security checkpoint.  The TSA officer takes a look at your driver’s license and shakes her head.  No.  You can’t go any further.  Why not?  Because you never obtained a REAL ID.  Beginning Oct. 2021, REAL ID’s will be required for all domestic airline travel as mandated by the REAL ID Act of 2005.

What is a REAL ID and where do you go to get one?  What documentation do you need to have?  What is the purpose of this ID change?  Will it be safer?  Join us as a representative from AAA answers these questions and more.  This free online meeting can provide the information you need to get you started.  Contact mpl_mail@clamsnet.org or call us at 508-539-1435 to register.

Last Monday Movie Discussion Group
4:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Attention all movie lovers - we are excited to start our "Last Monday Movie Discussion Group."  This (virtual) group meets via Zoom on the last Monday of every month to discuss a popular movie, documentary or series.  All films are available through the Mashpee Library's movie streaming service, Kanopy.

For our first meeting we will be discussing the Hitchcock classic, "Dial M for Murder."   This 1954 thriller tells the story of ex-tennis pro Tony Wendice and his plan to have his cheating wife killed.  He recruits acquaintance Charles Swann into helping him, but their plan goes terribly wrong.  Can Wendice weasel his way out of his "perfect crime"?  Starring Ray Miland, Grace Kelly and Robert Cummings this suspenseful favorite promises an entertaining and insightful discussion.

Ready to join in?  Call us at 508-539-1435 or email mpl_mail@clamsnet.org to sign up and we will send you an email with the Zoom login information.

If you are interested in joining but unfamiliar with Kanopy please contact us, we are happy to provide instructions to get you started.
